Eligibility Criteria For Kwara State Polytechnic HND Admission 2025/2026
To be eligible for admission into the Higher National Diploma (HND) program, candidates must meet the following requirements:-
- You should have an ND with a minimum of a Lower Credit in the relevant field.
- You need at least five O/L credit passes in subjects such as WASC, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB. These must include English Language and Mathematics, and must not exceed two sittings.
- You must have one year of relevant post-ND industrial experience (IT).
- If your ND result is a Pass Grade, you will need to have at least two years of post-ND industrial experience.
- You can only apply for an HND program in the same field you studied for your ND. For example, you can’t apply for HND Public Administration if your ND was in Mass Communication.
- All HND full-time applicants must provide their JAMB Registration Number used during their ND program. Only those who submit their JAMB number will be considered for admission.

To apply online for the program, simply visit the Kwara State Polytechnic website at www.kwarastatepolytechnic.edu.ng. From there, select your desired program and complete the registration process.
- If you are still waiting for your results, unfortunately, you will not be considered for admission.
- The application fee is N25,000, excluding bank and other processing charges.
- All payments should be made via ‘College Pay’ using a Debit Card, MasterCard, or Prepaid Card.
- All HND applicants are required to submit their Academic Transcripts to the Registrar of Kwara State Polytechnic before their admission process can begin.
- All HND applicants must upload their ND and O’Level results during the application process.
