If you are interested in the IJMB (Interim Joint Matriculation Board) programme at Kogi State Polytechnic, you must:-
- Have at least five (5) credit passes in subjects from any of the following examinations: WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB.
- Your credits must include English Language and Mathematics, plus three other subjects that relate to the course you plan to study (e.g., Literature, Government, Biology, Physics, etc., depending on your intended field). All five credits must be obtained in no more than two sittings; this means you can combine results from two different exam sessions if needed.
One of the best things about the IJMB programme is that you do NOT need to write JAMB (UTME) to gain admission into the program. With a successful IJMB result, you can apply for direct entry admission into the 200 level at many universities in Nigeria.
