Kogi State Polytechnic ND and HND Admission Requirements

National Diploma (ND) Admission Requirements

To be eligible for ND admission at Kogi State Polytechnic, candidates must:-

Choose Kogi State Polytechnic as their first or second choice during JAMB registration
Sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and score at least 100 in the relevant subject combination
Possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained at not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB
Meet the specific O’Level subject requirements for their chosen course
Participate in the KSP Post-UTME screening exercise and obtain a satisfactory score

Higher National Diploma (HND) Admission Requirements

To be eligible for HND admission, applicants must:-

Possess a National Diploma (ND) in a relevant course from Kogi State Polytechnic or any other recognized institution
Have a minimum of Lower Credit (CGPA of 2.50) in the ND result
Complete at least one year of industrial training (IT) after obtaining the ND certificate
Have five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained at not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB
Provide a copy of their ND academic transcript during the application
Meet any departmental or course-specific requirements as may be specified by the Polytechnic.
