How To View/Download Kogi State Polytechnic Admission List 2024/2025

The Kogi State Polytechnic has released the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd batch admission lists for the 2024/2025 academic session. Candidates who applied for admission into ND programmes can now check their admission status online. There are two methods candidates can use to check if they have been offered admission:-

  • Through the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS)
  • Through the Kogi State Polytechnic Admission Portal

Below are the steps you can follow to check your name using both methods:-

Check via JAMB CAPS

  • Visit the JAMB portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng
  • Log in using your JAMB email and password
  • Click on “Check Admission Status”
  • Select your examination year and enter your JAMB registration number
  • Click “Access my CAPS”
  • On the left panel, click “Admission Status”
  • If you’ve been offered admission, it will display your details and the option to accept or reject the offer.

Check via the Kogi State Polytechnic Portal

  1. Go to the official school portal at https://portal.kogistatepolytechnic.edu.ng.
  2. Navigate to the “Admission List” or “Check Admission Status” section
  3. Enter your application number or JAMB registration number
  4. Click “Check Admission Status”
  5. If offered admission, your name and details will appear on the screen.

If you have been admitted, make sure to proceed with acceptance, payment of fees, and clearance as instructed on the portal.

As mentioned earlier, candidates who have been offered admission into Kogi State Polytechnic must formally accept the offer by paying a non-refundable acceptance fee within a few weeks of being admitted. This confirms your intention to enrol and secures your space in the program. Follow these simple steps to complete your payment and make your admission official:-

  • Visit the official Kogi State Polytechnic admission portal.
Use your application number or JAMB registration to access your dashboard.
  • Locate the section labeled “Acceptance Fee Payment”.
  • Generate a unique RRR code; this is your payment reference.
  • Use the RRR code to pay online via your bank’s website or mobile app, or in-person at a designated bank branch.
  •  Payments made through third-party agents are not recommended—always use official school channels.
  • After payment, download the receipt generated on the portal.
  • Print a copy and keep it safe—it will be required during clearance or resumption.
  • Return to the portal and confirm your payment by clicking “Verify Payment”.
  • Once verified, your admission status will update to “Accepted”, showing that your spot is secured.

Once you have successfully paid your acceptance fee and verified it on the portal, the next step is to proceed to your department for registration. From there, you will be guided to pay your school fees, complete all necessary clearance procedures, and register for courses for the session.

Make sure you complete these steps as early as possible to avoid delays or issues that could affect your resumption or course registration.

If you found this information helpful, share it with other candidates who may not have checked their names or completed their admission process yet.
