Kano State Polytechnic ND Admission Requirements 

To gain admission into the National Diploma (ND) programs at Kano State Polytechnic, candidates must meet the following requirements:-

• Applicants must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, in not more than two sittings. These results must be from recognized examination bodies such as WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
• The minimum JAMB score for admission is 100. However, some competitive courses require a higher cut-off mark, so candidates must check their desired department’s specific requirements.
•  Candidates must have selected Kano State Polytechnic as their first or second choice during JAMB registration. Those who did not initially choose the institution can apply for a change of institution through JAMB.
• After meeting the JAMB cut-off mark, applicants are required to participate in the Kano State Polytechnic Post-UTME screening exercise. Performance in this screening will determine eligibility for admission.
• Applicants should be at least 16 years old at the time of admission.

Kano State Polytechnic HND Admission Requirements 

Candidates seeking admission into Higher National Diploma (HND) programs at Kano State Polytechnic must fulfill the following conditions:-

• Applicants must have obtained a National Diploma (ND) in a relevant field from Kano State Polytechnic or any other recognized institution.
• Candidates must have a minimum of Lower Credit (CGPA of 2.50 and above) in their ND program. Those with a Pass (CGPA below 2.50) must have at least two years of post-ND work experience in a related field before applying.
• Candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, obtained in not more than two sittings from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or any equivalent examination body.
• Applicants must have completed the mandatory one-year Industrial Training (IT) after their ND program. Those with a Pass in ND must show proof of two years of work experience in a related field.
• Candidates should have selected Kano State Polytechnic as their preferred institution during their HND application.
