Alex Ekwueme Federal University Direct Entry Admission Form 2025/2026
The management of Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI) has officially announced the release of its Direct Entry admission form for the 2025/2026 academic session. The admission portal was opened on Friday, 18th July, 2025, and interested candidates can now begin their registration.
Candidates who wish to gain admission into AE-FUNAI using their previous qualification, such as NCE, ND, HND, IJMB, JUPEB, or other acceptable credentials, are encouraged to visit the university’s admission portal and apply. The application form costs just ₦2,000 and can be obtained directly through the portal.

Eligibility Criteria for Direct Entry Admission 2025/2026
Candidates who want to apply for admission into AE-FUNAI through the Direct Entry route must ensure that they meet the following requirements:-
- Must possess at least five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
- Must have a minimum of two A-Level passes in relevant subjects.
- Acceptable qualifications include OND, HND, NCE, JUPEB, or IJMB with good grades in related disciplines.
- Candidates must have obtained their Direct Entry form through JAMB and selected AE-FUNAI as their first choice.
- Relevant academic transcripts or certificates must be ready and available for submission during the admission process.
- All candidates must also meet the specific departmental and faculty requirements for their chosen course.
Only those who meet these requirements will be considered for Direct Entry admission into AE-FUNAI.
How to Apply for Alex Ekwueme Federal University Direct Entry Admission Form 2025/2026
If you are eligible, follow the steps below to apply for the AE-FUNAI 2025/2026 admission screening:-
- Visit the AE-FUNAI official website at www.funai.edu.ng.
- Click on “ADMISSIONS” from the top menu or navigate through “QUICK LINKS.”
- Select the correct option depending on your entry mode, in this case 2025/2026 Direct Entry Admission Screening for Direct Entry applicants.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number to begin your application.
- The system will generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number for you.
- Take this RRR to any commercial bank to pay the ₦2,000 screening fee.
- After successful payment, return to the application portal.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number again to proceed.
- Fill out the online application form with your correct personal and academic details.
- Submit the form once completed.
- Print your acknowledgement slip. This serves as confirmation that your application was received.
Closing Date
The deadline for the application to this programme is Friday, 29 August 2025. All candidates are expected to have submitted their applications by this date. Late applications will not be accepted, and any candidate who fails to apply before the deadline will not be considered for admission.
