Eligibility Requirements for UI Direct Entry Admission 2024/2025

All applicants are expected to meet the admission requirements for this program. Only candidates who are qualified will be offered direct entry admission to study at the prestigious University of Ibadan.

Candidates must possess a National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), National Certificate of Education (NCE), or A-level certificates such as Cambridge A’ Level or IJMB from recognized institutions.
Those with OND, HND, or NCE must have a minimum of Upper Credit or Merit to be considered.
A’ Level candidates must have at least two passes in relevant subjects.
Candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
Candidates must have registered for Direct Entry through JAMB and selected University of Ibadan as their first choice.

How to Apply for University of Ibadan Direct Entry Admission Form 2024/225

Eligible candidates can apply for UI Direct Entry Admission using the steps outlined below;-

Go to https://www.admissions.ui.edu.ng.
Use your JAMB Direct Entry registration number as your username.
Your surname will be your password at first login
Pay the ₦5,000 application fee using any of the available payment options: Debit/Credit card, Bank transfer, or Cash deposit at the bank using a printout from the portal.
Enter your personal information, academic qualifications, and O-level results.
Make sure all information is correct before proceeding.
Upload clear scanned copies of your:

O’ Level results (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB)

A’ Level, NCE, OND, or HND certificates

JAMB Direct Entry slip

Passport photograph

Review your application and submit it.
Print your photocard (acknowledgment slip), as it contains important details about your screening schedule.
