Ekiti State University has announced its cut-off mark for the 2025/2026 admission year. All prospective students who are planning to apply for undergraduate studies at Ekiti State University are mandated to achieve the set EKSU cut-off mark for admission. This is one of the main criteria you must meet to be deemed qualified for admission at EKSU.

The Ekiti State University Cut-Off Mark 2025/2026 is a minimum set mark that all UTME candidates are expected to obtain in their JAMB examination to be eligible for admission. Only candidates who meet the EKSU cut-off mark and other requirements will be admitted.

Ekiti State University Cut-Off Mark For 2025/2026 Admission

Ekiti State University has set a cut-off mark of 150 and above for this year’s admission. So if you are interested in any course offered by this institution, you must meet this score or more to be eligible for admission.

The 150 cut-off mark does not cover all the courses offered by this institution. Certain courses require candidates to have a higher cut-off mark for admission. These courses include medicine, pharmacy, law, nursing, etc. If you fall into any of these categories, you are expected to have at least 250 to be eligible for admission.

While the general cut off mark is 150, some courses require higher cut-off marks. Below is the breakdown:

  • Medicine & Surgery — 260
  • Law — 250
  • Doctor of Pharmacy — 240
  • Nursing Science — 230
  • Medical Laboratory Science — 220
  • Mass Communication — 200
  • Engineering — 180
  • Computer Science — 180
  • Medical Biochemistry — 180

Check and ensure that you meet the cut-off mark for your preferred course. If you do not meet the cut-off mark, you will not be admitted.

Ekiti State University Admission Requirements 2025/2026

These are the other requirements you are expected to meet to be eligible for admission at EKSU.

  • Candidates must ensure that they choose EKSU as their First Choice of Institution. Those who did not will need to do a change of institution through JAMB to be able to apply for admission.
  • All candidates must possess a minimum of 5 credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) Ordinary Level, obtained in no more than 2 sittings.
  • You must ensure that you select the correct Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) subject combination for your chosen course.
  • Achieve a minimum score of 150 in the recently concluded JAMB UTME examination. Consult the table containing the cut-off marks and confirm your exact cut-off mark.
  • Ensure they have reached at least 16 years of age by the time of admission.
