Adamawa State University Admission Requirements 2026
To be considered for admission into undergraduate programmes at Adamawa State University (ADSU), Mubi, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:-
General Requirements
- You must have at least five (5) credit passes in your O’Level examinations (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
- If you are applying via UTME, you must have a JAMB score of 150 or higher. After meeting this, you are expected to register for ADSU’s Post‑UTME screening exercise.
- ADSU must be your first choice of institution in JAMB. If it is not, you can log into the JAMB portal and change it to ADSU before applying for the Post‑UTME/Direct Entry screening.
Direct Entry (DE) Requirements
Candidates applying through Direct Entry must satisfy the general O’Level requirements and hold one of the following qualifications in addition to their O’Level credits:-
- A‑Level/IJMB passes in at least two (2) subjects relevant to your intended course of study.
- National Certificate in Education (NCE) with a minimum of Merit in relevant subjects.
- National Diploma (ND) with at least Lower Credit in a related discipline.
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant field (usually with a minimum acceptable grade as specified by the department).
Screening and Application
- After meeting eligibility, you must apply online for the Post‑UTME/Direct Entry screening on the ADSU official portal.
- There is usually a screening fee (often around ₦2,000).
- During registration, you will be asked to upload scanned copies of your JAMB/DE result slip and all O’Level or A’Level certificates.
