Mountain Top University Admission Requirements 2024/2025

Do you want to apply for Mountain Top University (MTU) for the 2024/2025 academic session? If so, you must ensure that you meet the admission requirements set by the university. To be eligible for admission into any 100 Level undergraduate programme at MTU, candidates must:-

  • Have at least five (5) credit passes in O’Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics. These must be obtained from WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB, or any equivalent exam, and not more than two sittings.
  • Be at least 16 years old by the time of admission.
  • Have participated in the 2024 UTME and meet the JAMB minimum cut-off mark.
  • Select Mountain Top University as their first choice of institution when registering for JAMB. If you didn’t choose MTU as your first choice, you can easily apply for a change of institution on the JAMB portal.

How to Apply for Mountain Top University Post UTME Form 2024/2025

  • Visit the official MTU Post UTME portal at www.mtu.edu.ng.
  • Click on “Start a Fresh Application.”
  • Fill in your basic details like your full name, active phone number, and email address, then click “Continue.”
  • After filling in your details, you’ll be able to download and print a payment voucher.
  • Take the printed voucher to any of the following banks to make your payment.
  • Once you have made the payment, go back to the portal at www.mtu.edu.ng.
  • Log in and complete your application form online.
  • After filling in all the required information, print out your completed application form for your records.

All candidates are advised to ensure that they apply for admission before the application window expires. Candidates who apply late will not find their names on the MTU Admission List 2024/2025. 

Documents Required for Mountain Top University Screening Exercise

If you have met the application requirement, then you also need to know the documents required for the screening exercise. The screening officials will need you to present these documents at the screening venue, and you must gather these documents and keep them ready before the screening date.

Here are the documents required for Mountain Top University’s Post-UTME screening exercise:

  • You will need your original and photocopies of O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB), clearly showing at least five credit passes in relevant subjects. Awaiting results is not accepted.
  • Bring your original JAMB result slip, sometimes called the JAMB registration printout or acknowledgment slip, along with a copy.
  • Have your birth certificate or an official age declaration ready, in original and photocopy form.
  • Carry your state of origin (certificate of indigene) or a village/community letter of good conduct.
  • Provide recent passport photograph(s)
  • Bring the slip acknowledging payment or a printout of your portal registration confirmation.
  • If you are applying via Direct Entry, ensure your DE form or transcript has been forwarded to MTU’s Registrar.
