Nile University Postgraduate Admission Form 2025/2026
The management of the Nile University of Nigeria has officially released the Postgraduate Admission Form for the 2025/2026 academic session. This is for candidates who are looking to further their education by applying for Master’s, PhD, or Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) programmes at the institution.

Nile University Postgraduate Admission Requirements 2025/2026
To qualify for postgraduate admission at Nile University, candidates must meet these core criteria:
- A minimum of five (5) credit passes in O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE), including English Language and Mathematics, achieved in no more than two sittings
- A valid NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Letter must be submitted before admission is finalized.
- Provide three (3) referee reports addressing your academic/professional suitability.
- Official transcripts from all prior tertiary institutions must be sent directly to Nile University’s School of Postgraduate Studies.
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
- A Bachelor’s degree (minimum Third Class) or HND (Upper Credit) from an accredited institution.
Master’s Degrees (M.Sc., M.A., M.Eng., MBA, LL.M.)
- At least a Bachelor’s degree with Second Class Lower Division in a relevant field.
- For Executive MBA applicants, candidates with HND (Upper Credit), ICAN, ACCA, ACMA, or other professional qualifications, plus relevant work experience, may qualify.
M.Phil / Ph.D.
- A Master’s degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) with a CGPA of at least 3.5/5.0 (60%).
- Ph.D. only: Only holders of a relevant Master’s degree are eligible; direct entry from B.Sc. is not permitted.

- Start by visiting the Nile University postgraduate portal and creating a new account by registering your basic details.
- Once you complete your registration, you’ll receive an email containing a login link, your registered email address, and a temporary password.
- Click the link in the email. Use the provided email and password to log in, then select your admission type as Postgraduate.
