Abia State Polytechnic Admission List 2024/2025

The management of Abia State Polytechnic has officially released the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd batch admission lists for the 2024/2025 academic session. All candidates who applied for admission into the full-time National Diploma (ND) programs offered by the institution are hereby invited to check their names.

The Abia State Polytechnic Admission List 2024/2025 has been uploaded online and is now available on both the JAMB CAPS portal and the school’s admission portal.

How to Check Abia State Polytechnic Admission List 2024/2025

The admission list is now available online, and you can check it using either the JAMB CAPS portal or the Abia State Polytechnic admission portal. Just follow the simple steps below to find your name:-

JAMB CAPS Portal

Go to the JAMB e‑Facility portal: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng
Log in using your JAMB email/username and password
Click “Check Admission Status.”
Choose your exam year, enter your JAMB registration number, then click “Access my CAPS.”
On the CAPS dashboard, click “Admission Status.”
Your admission status will show, either “Admitted”, “Admission in Progress”, or “Not Admitted”

Abia State Polytechnic Portal

Visit the official portal: https://portal.abiastatepolytechnic.edu.ng
Log in using your JAMB registration number or Application Form number as username, and your password (usually your National ID or a password you created)
Once logged in, find and click “Admission Status” or a similar link/button to view your current admission result.

If your status shows “Admission in Progress”, that means the school has started processing your admission, but it hasn’t been fully approved yet. You can check once a day or every few days. Admissions are updated gradually, and many students transition from “in progress” to “admitted” status after a short period.

What to Do After Confirming Your Admission Status

Have you been offered admission? Congratulations! Complete the steps below to secure your admission:-

Accept Your Admission on JAMB CAPS
Log in to the School Portal
Pay Your Acceptance Fee
Prepare for Screening/Clearance
Pay Your School Fees & Register for Courses

All newly admitted candidates are required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee to secure their spot. You are advised to make this payment within two (2) weeks of being offered admission to avoid losing your slot. Follow the steps below to make your payment easily:

Go to https://portal.abiastatepolytechnic.edu.ng
Use your JAMB Registration Number or Application Number as your username
Enter your password (your default password or one you created during registration)
Once logged in, click on “Acceptance Fee.”
Generate a payment invoice or RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference)
You can pay online using an ATM card, or
Take the invoice to any bank that accepts Remita and make the payment there.
After successful payment, return to the portal.
Log in and print your Acceptance Fee Receipt for clearance and record keeping.
