Igbinedion University Post UTME Form 2025/2026
The Igbinedion University, Okada admission portal is now officially open for the 2025/2026 academic session, and interested candidates are welcome to apply for the wide range of undergraduate courses offered by the institution. The application form is available online on the university’s admission portal.
Before applying, candidates are strongly advised to review and ensure they meet the admission requirements, as only qualified applicants will be considered for admission into the university.

Requirements For Igbinedion University Post-UTME Form 2025/2026
To qualify for admission into Igbinedion University’s four-year degree programs or the professional programs that span five or six years, candidates need to meet.
- Applicants must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics. These results should be obtained from recognized examination bodies such as WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB, and must not be from more than two sittings.
- For applicants interested in studying Law, it is mandatory to have at least a credit pass in Literature in English.
- All applicants are required to sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and attain the cut-off mark of 160.
- Candidates who are awaiting the release of their results are also welcome to apply, provided the results will be available by September, which marks the start of the academic session.
Direct Entry Requirements
Candidates seeking admission into the 200 Level (Direct Entry), except for programs like Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Sciences, and Law, may apply using any of the following qualifications:-
- A minimum of two A-Level passes and an additional subsidiary subject, with relevant subject combinations that align with the intended course of study.
- A Diploma or NCE obtained with at least a credit-level pass in relevant subjects from a recognized institution.
- A valid IJMB qualification in appropriate subjects.
- A First Degree in a related field.
In all cases, candidates must also meet the basic entry requirement of five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics, in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE. Additionally, candidates must provide evidence of having applied through JAMB.
Transfer Admission
Students who wish to transfer from another accredited university to Igbinedion University, Okada must submit an official academic transcript from their current institution. They are also required to complete a JAMB transfer form, which must be duly signed by their current institution. All relevant documents should be mailed to:-

Age Requirement
Generally, candidates must not be older than 22 years at the time of admission. However, exceptions may be considered in special circumstances.
How to Apply for Igbinedion University Post-UTME Form 2025/2026
If you are applying for full-time undergraduate admission into Igbinedion University, Okada, here’s a simple step-by-step guide to help you complete the application process smoothly:-
- Go to the university’s application portal at iuokada.waeup.org.
- Click “Register for Application” (top left of the page).
- Fill in your first name, middle name, surname, email address, and phone number.
- Once submitted, your Application ID and Password will be sent to your email.
- Open the email and click the link to continue your registration.
- Return to the portal and click on “Login” in the top right corner.
- Enter your username and password to access your dashboard.
- Click on “Application Record”.
- Fill in all required information accurately.
- Upload a recent, clear, coloured passport photograph (1” x 1”).
- Click on “Add Online Payment Ticket” at the bottom of the page.
- Then click on “Pay with Interswitch” or “Pay with Etranzact” at the top left.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to pay using any ATM-enabled card from a Nigerian commercial bank.
- Before submitting your application, carefully review all the information you’ve entered.
- Make sure everything is accurate, then submit your application online.
