UNICAL Pre-Degree Admission Requirements 2025/2026

Below are the admission requirements for the UNICAL Pre-Degree Admission:-

Pre-Degree Program in Science, Agriculture & Education (Science)

  • You must have five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, from either WAEC, NECO, GCE O’Level, or NABTEB, in not more than two sittings. These credits must include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science, and One more subject from Science or Social Science.
  • Physics is required, but if you only have a pass in Physics, you can still apply.
  • If you use Agricultural Science instead of Biology, you will likely be placed in the Faculty of Agriculture after the programme.
  • Applicants awaiting their results can also apply, but they must submit the results before admission decisions are made.
  • You must have written the 2025 JAMB examination.

Pre-Degree Program in Arts

  • You must have five (5) credit passes in either WAEC, NECO, GCE O’Level, or NABTEB, obtained in not more than two sittings. These must include English Language
  • At least one Arts or Social Science subject (like Literature, History, Government, etc.)
  • You must have a valid JAMB result for 2025.

How to Apply for the UNICAL Pre-Degree Program

The application process for the UNICAL Pre-Degree program involves the following steps:

  1. Visit the official UNICAL CES portal at https://myunical.edu.ng
  2. Purchase the Pre-Degree application form using an ATM card.
  3. Alternatively, obtain a scratch card from designated banks.
  4. Log in to the CES portal with the provided PIN or scratch card details.
  5. Fill out the online application form with accurate personal and academic information.
  6. Upload necessary documents, such as passport-sized photographs and academic certificates. 
  7. Review all entered information for accuracy.
  8. Submit the completed application form online.
  9. Print the application slip for future reference.
