The management of Western Delta University is pleased to inform the general public that the Post-UTME and Direct Entry forms for the 2024/2025 academic session are now available. These forms are for undergraduate candidates who wish to gain admission into the university through either UTME or Direct Entry.

Interested applicants can now access the application form online via the university’s official admissions portal. However, only candidates who have carefully read and confirmed that they meet the admission requirements are eligible to proceed with the application.

Western Delta University Post-UTME Requirements 2024/2025 

All applicants seeking admission into Western Delta University must meet the following general requirements:-

  • Candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in subjects including English Language and Mathematics in SSCE (WAEC/NECO), GCE, or NABTEB. The required credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
  • The remaining subjects must be relevant to the chosen course of study, as specified by the respective department or college.
  • All applicants are required to sit for the UTME (JAMB) and must have obtained the minimum required UTME score for their chosen program.
  • In addition, candidates must select Western Delta University as their first choice of institution during UTME registration.

Direct Entry Admission

Candidates applying through Direct Entry must meet the following requirements:-

  • Possess a National Diploma (ND) with a minimum of Lower Credit, or a Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) with at least Merit, obtained from a recognized institution.
  • Alternatively, candidates may present two (2) Advanced Level (A-Level) passes in relevant subjects.

How To Apply For Western Delta University Post-UTME Form 2024/2025

If you have read, understood, and ensured that you meet the admission requirements for your chosen mode of entry, follow these steps to apply for the form:-

  • Go to the official Western Delta University admissions portal at https://admissions.wdu.edu.ng/undergraduate/
  • Click on the “Apply Now” or “Create Account” button. Fill in your name, email address, phone number, and choose a password.
  • After creating your account, log in using the email and password you just created.
  • Carefully fill in your details, educational background, and UTME information. Make sure everything is correct before moving on.
  • Choose your preferred course of study from the list of available programmes.
  • Scan and upload your documents (e.g., SSCE results, birth certificate, JAMB result slip, passport photo, etc.).
  • Pay the application fee using your ATM card or other available online payment methods on the portal.
  • After filling in all details and making payment, click “Submit.” You’ll get a confirmation message once your application is successful.
  • Make sure to print out the application acknowledgement slip for reference.

Alternatively, you can visit the university campus, purchase the form, fill it out, and submit it. You must ensure that you complete your application before the application window expires, whichever method you choose.
