Paul University Admission Requirements For Undergraduate Candidates 2025/2026
To apply for undergraduate admission at Paul University for the 2025/2026 academic session, candidates must meet specific criteria depending on their chosen mode of entry, either through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or Direct Entry. UTME Admission Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old by the time the academic session starts.
- Candidates are expected to have at least five (5) credits in relevant subjects. These credits must include English Language and Mathematics. The results should come from recognized examination bodies like WAEC, NECO, GCE, IGCSE, or NABTEB, and must be obtained in no more than two examination sittings.
- Candidates must score a minimum of 160 marks or above in the 2025 JAMB exam.
- Paul University must be selected as the candidate’s first-choice institution during JAMB registration. If Paul University was not initially chosen as the first choice, candidates will need to apply for a change of institution to Paul University via the JAMB portal before proceeding with their application.
Direct Entry Admission Requirements
For candidates applying through Direct Entry, the following academic qualifications are acceptable:-
- Two (2) A’ Level passes in subjects related to the course you want to study.
- An International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in relevant subjects.
- A National Certificate of Education (NCE) with merit in a relevant field.
- An Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in a related discipline.
- A Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant area of study.
- A completed degree in a relevant subject.
- ICAN-ATS 3 certificate holders, but this applies only if you want to study B.Sc. Accounting.
Just like UTME candidates, Direct Entry applicants must also have five (5) credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained within two examination sittings at most.
