Sa’adu Zungur University Admission Requirements 2024/2025
If you are seeking admission into Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU) for the 2024/2025 academic session, it is important to meet the required criteria. Below are the admission requirements for both UTME and Direct Entry candidates.
UTME Candidates
Candidates applying for admission through UTME must meet the following requirements:
- Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE. The results must not be obtained in more than two sittings.
- A minimum UTME score of 140 is required for eligibility.
- Candidates must have taken the correct UTME subject combination for their chosen course.
- All applicants must have registered SAZU as their first choice institution in JAMB.
- Candidates must participate in the SAZU Post-UTME screening and meet the required cut-off mark for their chosen course.
- Candidates must upload their O’ Level results on the JAMB CAPS portal for verification.
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old at the time of admission.
Direct Entry (DE) Candidates
Candidates seeking Direct Entry admission into the 200 level must fulfill the following conditions:-
- Must have at least five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE.
- Must possess at least two (2) A’ Level passes in relevant subjects related to their desired course.
- Candidates with a National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) must have a minimum of Lower Credit or Merit.
- Candidates with a JUPEB or IJMB certificate must have at least 6 points to qualify for admission.
- Must have registered for JAMB Direct Entry and selected SAZU as their first choice institution.
- Must upload their O’ Level results and relevant qualifications to JAMB CAPS for verification.
