How to Register for NECO BECE 2025
The NECO BECE 2025 registration involves both offline and online procedures. Below are the steps to follow:-
- Schools that have previously registered with NECO should use their existing login credentials. If there are any login issues, schools can resolve them by using the “forgot password” or “dispute” options.
- New schools must claim their portal by registering with the official school email and contact details. It’s important to note that personal or cybercafé emails should not be used.
- Schools need to remove the old registration app and install the updated version for 2025, which can be downloaded from the official NECO BECE registration page. This app allows schools to input complete details of each student, including uploading passport-sized photos of the pupils in their school uniforms.
- Once all the student data has been entered offline, schools should upload it to the NECO system after completing the payment. A registration number will only be assigned to each student once the data has been uploaded successfully.
To be considered a viable center, a school must register at least 20 pupils. If a school registers fewer than 20 pupils, it will need to pay the unviable centre fee to hold the examination on its grounds.

Guidelines for Registration
Schools should take note of these instructions:-
- All student details must be properly uploaded and the full payment completed before the deadline to make the registration valid.
- If there are any errors while filling out student information, make sure to fix them before uploading. This helps avoid issues or penalties later on.
- Late registration is only allowed between May 5th and May 6th, 2025, and it comes with an extra charge of ₦5,000 per student.
- After successful registration, each student must have a printed photocard. This will be used during the exam process.
