The management of Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University (KOMU) has officially announced the release of the IJMB admission form for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Candidates who are interested in gaining admission into the university through the IJMB (Interim Joint Matriculation Board) programme are invited to apply. This programme is a one-year academic pathway that offers students the opportunity to secure direct entry admission into 200 level, without writing JAMB.

Admission Requirements for KOMU IJMB Programme 2025/2026

This A’Level programme runs for one academic session and leads to the award of an IJMB certificate, which allows successful candidates to gain direct entry admission into 200 level in any Nigerian university that accepts the IJMB qualification. To apply, you must have:-

  • A minimum of five (5) credit passes in SSCE, NECO, or GCE. These credits must include English Language and Mathematics. The remaining subjects must be relevant to the course you want to study at the university. Your results must be obtained in no more than two sittings

How to Apply for Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University IJMB Admission Form 2025/2026

All eligible candidates who wish to apply for the IJMB programme at Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University (KOMU) are required to pay a non-refundable processing fee of ₦10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira only).

  • Go to the official KOMU website at www.komu.edu.ng
  • On the homepage, click on “Online Application”
  • Select “Apply Online” under the IJMB Programme
  • Carefully read the application instructions
  • Click on “Click here to Apply”
  • Then, click on “Start your Admission Process”
  • After that, select “Start Application Process”
  • Fill out the online application form completely and correctly
  • Click “Submit” to proceed

How to Make Payments

  • After submitting your form, you’ll be directed to pay the application fee of ₦10,000
  • This takes you to the Remita payment portal, where your details (name, phone number, email, amount, and RRR) will appear
  • If the information is correct, click “Submit” to continue
  • Choose your preferred payment method:
  • ATM card (online)
  • Bank transfer
  • USSD
  • Bank branch (print invoice and pay at the bank)
  • Remita Wallet
  • Phone number payment
  • Follow the prompts to complete your payment securely
  • Print your Acknowledgement Slip (it will also be sent to your email). Keep it safe; it’s your proof of application
  • Check your admission status on the KOMU website two weeks after your application
