The management of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, has announced the commencement of its Part-Time admission process for the 2025/2026 academic session. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into various National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) part-time programs across different study centres in the state.

This admission is open to candidates who meet the basic entry requirements and are interested in pursuing flexible academic schedules while working or handling other responsibilities.

How Much is the KSP Part-Time Admission Form 2025/2026?

The application form for the Kogi State Polytechnic Part-Time admission costs Ten Thousand Naira (₦10,000) only. This amount does not include bank charges or any additional service fees during payment. Applicants are advised to make their payments through the official portal only. Kogi State Polytechnic offers part-time programmes at the following centres:-

Eligibility Requirements For Kogi State Polytechnic Part-Time Admission

Below are the requirements you must meet, depending on the specific programme you intend to apply for. Go through them carefully, as only qualified candidates will be shortlisted for admission.

For ND Programmes (6 Semesters)

  • Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, SSCE, or NABTEB. These must include English Language, Mathematics, and three relevant subjects, depending on the course.

Relevant subjects include: Accounting, Economics, Geography, Government, Commerce, Civic Education, CRS, IRS, Biology, Literature in English, Office Practice, and Agricultural Science.

For NDS (National Diploma Special, 2 Semesters)

  • Candidates must meet the same O-Level requirements as stated above.
  • In addition, applicants must possess a Diploma in a relevant field such as Public Administration, Accounting, or Auditing.
  • A transcript of Diploma results must be submitted to the Admission Officer.

For HND Programmes (5 Semesters)

  • Applicants must possess a National Diploma (ND) in a related field with at least a Lower Credit (2.50 CGPA).
  • Five (5) O-Level credit passes (including English and Mathematics) in relevant subjects are also required.
  • Candidates with a Pass in ND may still be considered if they have at least two years of post-ND industrial experience.

  • Go to the Kogi State Polytechnic official portal at www.kogistatepolytechnic.edu.ng (or the admission portal when active).
  • Generate your invoice on the portal.
  • Pay the non-refundable application fee of ₦10,000 either online or at a designated bank.
  • Keep your payment receipt safe; it will be needed during the application process.
  • Log in using your application details and complete the form carefully.
  • Choose your preferred course and study centre.
  • Double-check the details you’ve entered.
  • Click submit, and print out your application slip for future reference.
