The management of Federal University Dutsin-ma (FUDMA) through its School of Postgraduate Studies has announced that the postgraduate form for the 2024/2025 academic session is available. Interested applicants can now visit the FUDMA postgraduate admission portal and grab the PG form.

Entry Requirements For Federal University Dutsin-ma Postgraduate Programs
The FUDMA Postgraduate Admission Form 2024/2025 is available online and can be obtained via the official school portal.All interested persons are advised to ensure that they pay the application fee and submit their application form as soon as possible.
Applicants required to take a qualifying examination must pay a Two Thousand Naira examination fee in addition to the postgraduate application form cost.
All interested candidates must ensure that they meet the admission requirements for the postgraduate program:-
General Admission Requirements
- A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate is required for all postgraduate applicants.
- Candidates with a PASS grade at any level (Degree, PGD, HND, or OND) are not eligible for admission into PhD, Master’s, or PGD programs.
- Applicants with a CGPA below 2.50 at the diploma level do not qualify for a Master’s program.
- Final admission decisions rest with the Postgraduate School Board.
- Preference is usually given to candidates with a science-related background.
- All Master’s degree programmes must include coursework in addition to research work, and a thesis defense is required for graduation. No exemptions apply.
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Programs
Candidates must meet at least one of the following requirements:-
- Possess a Third Class Honours Degree in a relevant discipline.
- Hold an HND (Lower Credit) or OND (Lower Credit) in a relevant field with at least one year of work experience.
PhD Program
- To qualify for a PhD programme, candidates must have a Master’s degree from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, or any other recognized institution.
- Equivalent qualifications may also be accepted, subject to the approval of the university’s Senate.
- Applicants must have obtained a minimum weighted score of 60%, a ‘B’ grade, or a CGPA of 3.50 on a 5.00 scale in their Master’s degree program.
- Candidates whose academic background is deemed insufficient for their chosen specialization may be required to take additional courses. The specific courses will be determined by the relevant department in line with postgraduate regulations.
Master’s Degree Program
To be eligible for a Master’s degree, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- Hold at least a Second Class Lower (2:2) Honours Degree from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, or any other recognized university.
- Applicants with a Third Class Honours Degree must have a minimum of two years of relevant work experience. Some departments may require a qualifying examination.
- Candidates with an HND (Lower Credit) and a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in a relevant field (minimum Lower Credit) with at least one year of post-graduation experience may also be considered.
How To Apply For FUDMA Postgraduate Admission Form 2024/2025
If you have confirmed that you meet all the requirements for the course you want to apply for, follow the instructions below to apply:-
- Go to pgs.fudutsinma.edu.ng/apply.
- Fill in the required details
- Start Application: Click “Start Application.” A confirmation email will be sent to you with your Application Number and Email.
- Open the email titled “Your Application Details”.
- Click the activation link provided to verify your account.
- Log in to the portal with your Application Number and Email.
- Generate and pay your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
- Check your email for “Payment Confirmation”.
- If the payment status is PENDING, click “Refresh Status”.
- Once your payment is confirmed, log in again to continue and submit your application.
