The management of Federal Polytechnic Oko has officially announced the release of the HND Part-Time (Evening) Admission Form for the 2025/2026 academic session. This program is suitable for those who want to pursue the Higher National Diploma (HND) level while still having the flexibility to work or manage other responsibilities during the day.

Applications are now being accepted from qualified candidates into various part-time HND programs offered by the institution. Whether you graduated from Federal Polytechnic Oko or another NBTE-accredited polytechnic, you are welcome to apply, as long as you meet the required qualifications.

Please note that the application form costs Ten Thousand Naira (₦10,000) only. Payment is to be made online using Remita, either through any commercial bank or directly with your ATM card.

Requirements for Federal Polytechnic Oko HND Part-Time (Evening) Admission

To be eligible for admission into the HND Part-Time (Evening) programme at Federal Polytechnic Oko, candidates must meet the following conditions:-

First, you must have the required qualifications that are usually needed for the ND (National Diploma) program in your chosen field. These are the standard entry requirements set by NBTE (National Board for Technical Education) for all polytechnics in Nigeria.
Second, you must already hold a National Diploma (ND) in a relevant course. Your ND should have been obtained from Federal Polytechnic Oko or any other NBTE-accredited institution, with at least a Lower Credit grade.
Third, you must have at least one year of IT experience after completing your ND.
However, if your ND result is a Pass (CGPA between 2.00 and 2.49), you can still apply, but only if you have at least two years of relevant work experience in the same field.

How to Apply for Federal Polytechnic Oko HND Part-Time (Evening) Admission 2025/2026

Follow these steps carefully to complete your application:-

Visit the school website by going to www.federalpolyoko.edu.ng.
Once on the homepage, go to the “Admissions” section and click on “Online Application Forms.”
On the application page, choose “HND – Part-Time Application” from the list of programs and enter your JAMB Registration Number.
Click the “Sign In” button to move to the next step.
You will be taken to a page to generate your payment invoice. Fill in all your details correctly and click “Submit.”
Choose your preferred payment method and pay the application fee of ₦10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira only) using the Remita Retrieval Reference Number. You can either pay at any bank or use your ATM card to make the payment online.
After successful payment, go back to the school’s website to complete and submit the online application form. Be sure to double-check all your information before final submission.
Once done, print out your Acknowledgement Slip; this is your proof of application.
Make photocopies of your Acknowledgement Slip and other required credentials, and submit them to the Admissions Office at the Polytechnic to help with the processing of your application.
Finally, wait for a response from the Polytechnic regarding the status of your admission.
