This is the first and most important step in securing your place at the university. Without payment of the acceptance fee, your admission will not be recognized, and you may lose your slot.

The EKSU acceptance fees are as follows: ₦112,000 for students admitted into Law, Medical Laboratory Science, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiology, and Anatomy, and ₦62,000 for students in all other faculties and departments.

How to Pay EKSU School Fees  for 2025/2026

All new and returning students of Ekiti State University (EKSU) are advised to follow the steps below carefully to pay their school fees for the 2025/2026 academic session. Making payment through the correct process is very important, as it ensures that your transaction is successful and properly recorded on the university’s system.

  1. Go to the university’s official portal at www.eksu.edu.ng using a computer or smartphone with an active internet connection.
  2. On the homepage, navigate to the Student Portal or Undergraduate Portal section.
    • For newly admitted students, use your JAMB Registration Number or Matric Number as your username.
    • Enter your password to log in. If it’s your first time, you’ll be guided to create one.
  3. After logging in, click on “School Fees” or “Pay Fees” under the payment options on your dashboard.
  4. Ensure that your name, faculty, department, and level are correct. Also, check that the amount displayed matches your course and indigene status (Indigene or Non-Indigene).
  5. Click on “Generate Invoice” to obtain a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number. This reference number is needed to complete your payment.
  6. You can pay your fees through any of the following options:
    • Online Payment (Recommended): Use your ATM card (MasterCard, Visa, or Verve) to pay directly on the portal.
    • Bank Payment: Print out your Remita invoice and take it to any commercial bank in Nigeria to make payment.
  7. After payment, return to the EKSU portal and click “Confirm Payment” or “Check Payment Status.” Once confirmed, your payment details will appear on your dashboard.
  8. Print your school fees payment receipt immediately and keep it safe. You’ll need it for course registration, clearance, and verification.
