The application fee for the Benue State University postgraduate admission form is Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000). Benue State University Postgraduate Admission Requirements 2024/2025

• All candidates must have an O’level certificate with at least credit passes in five relevant subjects including mathematics and English. These must be obtained in two sittings.
• All candidates must complete the NYSC program and provide proof of completion.

Master’s Degree Programmes (M.Sc., M.A., M.Ed.)

A relevant Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division from BSU or any recognized University. Below are more specific requirements for the program:-

• M.Sc. Physiology & Anatomy: B.Sc. in Physiology (First Class, Upper/Lower Division) or Medical graduates registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
• M.Sc. Mathematics & Computer Science: B.Sc. in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 3.00.
• M.Sc. Management & Public Sector Accounting: Second Class Lower (CGPA 3.00) in Business-related degrees or PGDM with Upper Credit.

PhD Programmes

A Master’s degree with a CGPA of not less than 3.50 or a ‘B’ grade from BSU or any recognized University.

• PhD History: Master of Philosophy degree holders may be admitted, or those without an M.A. will need to take additional 800-level courses.
• PhD Law: Research proposal required.
• PhD Physiology & Anatomy: Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria is required.

Master of Health Management (MHM)

• Any degree in Medicine (MBBS, BDS), Pharmacy, Nursing, or other medical professional qualifications, plus a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Management from BSU or other recognized institutions.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

•  Second Class Lower Division (CGPA 3.00) with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, Management, or Economics. PGDM holders with Upper Credit (CGPA 3.50) may also be considered.

Postgraduate Diploma Programmes

• Postgraduate Diploma in Planning Studies: Requires 5 credits at “O” Level, including English and Mathematics, plus a Bachelor’s degree (3rd Class) or an HND in relevant fields.
• Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science: Requires basic undergraduate qualifications (5 credits, including English and Mathematics), with a minimum of Third Class in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related fields.

How To Apply For Benue State University Postgraduate Admission Form 2024/2025

All qualified applicants can apply for the form using the steps outlined below:-

• To begin, go to www.bsum.edu.ng and navigate to the “Applications” section under the Benue State University Portal. Click on “Postgraduate” to start the application process.
• Complete the pre-registration form with the necessary details and submit it.
• After submission, an Application Number will be generated. Be sure to print a copy of this pre-registration form for future reference.
• Take the printed copy of your pre-registration form to Fidelity Bank and pay the non-refundable application fee of ₦20,000 using your generated Application Number.
• Once the payment is made, return to the Benue State University Portal, click on “Postgraduate” under the Application section, and complete the full application form.
•  During this step, you will be required to upload your academic credentials and other relevant documents. Be sure to submit the form online and print a hard copy for your records.
• Ensure that the reference forms are completed by your three referees. These reference forms should be submitted as part of your application. Applications that lack the required documents or reference forms will not be considered.

Please note that late applications, starting 30 days after the date of the advertisement, will incur an additional fee of ₦5,000.
