Eligibility Requirements for Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti HND Admission 2024/2025

To be considered, applicants must meet the following conditions:

For National Diploma (ND) Result:

  • Candidates must have at least a Lower Credit grade in a related field.
  • Applicants also need five (5) O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics, from WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB – all in no more than two sittings.

Additional Notes on NABTEB:

  • If you are applying for courses in Engineering or Agriculture, you must have a relevant subject from your trade area (not subjects like Bookkeeping or Commerce).
  • For Business courses, you can apply using NABTEB NBC (Business Certificate).
  • NABTEB NTC (Technical Certificate) and NGC (General Education Certificate) are accepted for Agriculture, Science, and Computer Studies programmes.

Industrial Training (IT) Experience:

  • Candidates need at least one year (12 months) of work experience after their ND.
  • If the applicant’s ND grade is Pass, then they must have two years (24 months) of work experience.
  • ND Result and IT Letter must be uploaded during your application.

How to Apply for Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti HND Admission Form 2024/2025

Applications can be made online by following the guidelines below:

  •  Applications open from Monday, 19th August 2024.
  • Visit the official university website at https://students.fedpolyado.edu.ng.
  • Click to generate your payment invoice on the website.

Pay the Application Fee:

  • Amount: ₦15,500 (this includes admin charges).
  • Payment can be made at any bank using the invoice or online using your debit card (Visa, Verve, or MasterCard)

Complete the Form:

  • Go back to the portal and fill out the application form using the RRR number on your payment receipt.
  • Upload your ND result and IT letter.
  • Print your Acknowledgement Slip after submitting the form.

 Aptitude Test (CBT)

All applicants (Morning, Evening, and Part-Time) will take a Computer-Based Test (CBT) that will cover:

  • General Knowledge
  • Questions from your ND specialization

Transcript Submission

Make sure your ND transcript is sent directly by your previous school to: The Registrar, Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti, P.M.B. 5351, Ado-Ekiti. The Transcript must arrive before the application closing date.

Note: The school will not process:

  • Transcripts sent late or hand-delivered
  • Incomplete or late application forms
  • ND results dated February 2024 or later (for Lower Credit or higher applicants)
  • ND results dated February 2023 or later (for Pass-grade applicants)
  • Applications with false or misleading information
