The UNIMED Post-UTME Screening Form 2024/2025 is available on the admission portal for Two Thousand Naira (N2,000). All interested candidates must pay this amount to the authorized platforms to validate their applications.

Who Can Apply for UNIMED Post-UTME Screening 2024/2025? 

UNIMED is quite competitive to get into and as such, all candidates are expected to bring their A games. You must ensure you score high in JAMB and meet all other requirements set by UNIMED for this year’s admission. Here are the requirements you must meet to be eligible for admission:-

  • If you picked Ondo State University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED) as your first choice in the 2024 UTME and scored 180 or above, you are eligible to apply.
  • If you didn’t select UNIMED initially but are now interested, you can change it to your first choice and apply for the post-UTME.
  • You must have at least five (5) credit passes, including English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects (depending on your chosen course). These five credits should be from not more than two sittings.
  • However, for Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry, and Doctor of Physiotherapy, your five credits must include English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and must be obtained in one sitting only.

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

  • If you applied through JAMB Direct Entry (DE) and picked UNIMED as your first choice, or if you are willing to switch, you can apply.
  • You must meet one of the following conditions:-
  • At least 10 points in relevant ‘A’ level subjects OR
  • A B.Sc. (Hons) Degree with at least Second Class Lower OR
  • A National Diploma (ND) in Basic Medical or Science courses with at least Lower Credit
  • For Medicine and Surgery or Dentistry, you need:-
  • At least 13 points in relevant ‘A’ level subjects OR
  • A B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in a Basic Medical Science course with at least Second Class Upper
  • For Nursing Science, you must have:-
  • A first degree or its equivalent in health-related or basic science courses, with at least Second Class Lower Honours or Lower Credit.

Steps To Apply For UNIMED Post-UTME Form 2024/2025

All those who have verified that they are qualified to apply for this form can follow the simple steps outlined below to apply:-

  • Visit the UNIMED website at www.unimed.edu.ng
  • Click on “Admission”, then select “Post-UTME” to access the application portal.
  • Click on “PAYMENT” and pay online using a Naira debit card.
  • After a successful payment, click on “Print Payment Receipt” to keep a record.
  • Return to the Post-UTME Portal, click “Application Login”, and sign in using: Your UTME/DE Registration Number and Your Payment Transaction ID (used as the password)
  • Fill in the required details and complete your registration.
  • Review your application and submit it.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

  • The details of the screening venue will be communicated to each candidate through their portal before the exam.
  • UTME candidates must bring their JAMB 2024 Notification of Results Slip to the screening venue, while Direct Entry candidates must come with their JAMB Registration Slip.
  • All candidates are also required to present a printed copy of their completed 2024 Post-UTME Screening Slip at the venue.
  • Direct Entry candidates must ensure that their official academic transcripts are sent directly to The Registrar, UNIMED either via email at [email protected] or through courier to the Office of the Registrar, University of Medical Sciences, Laje Road Campus, Medical Village, Ondo City, Ondo State. Admission will not be processed without the submission of official transcripts.
