UNN Direct Entry Admission List [2025/2026]

UNN Direct Entry Admission List

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has officially released the Direct Entry Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session. This list contains the names of candidates who applied through Direct Entry or JUPEB and have been offered provisional admission into various undergraduate programmes in the university.

If you applied for Direct Entry admission and were waiting to see your name, this is the right time to check. Many candidates who were not included in earlier releases are often captured at this stage, so make sure to go through the list carefully.

This post will guide you on how to check your admission status, explain the acceptance fee and payment procedure, and provide key instructions to complete your admission process without any delay.

How to Check the UNN Direct Entry Admission List 2025/2026

All candidates who applied for Direct Entry or JUPEB admission can check their names using the following steps:-

  • Visit the official UNN website: https://www.unn.edu.ng
  • Navigate to the Admission / News section.
  • Click on the relevant link depending on your category:
  • Download the PDF list and search for your name or registration number under your department or course.

If your name is not on the list, do not panic. UNN may release additional batches, so keep checking regularly. Also, ensure that your O’Level results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS using a JAMB-approved CBT centre, as admission cannot be processed without this.

Acceptance Fee and Payment Procedure

After confirming your name on the list, the next step is to pay the acceptance fee, which secures your admission. If you do not pay this fee promptly, your admission may be withdrawn.

The acceptance fee for UNN Direct Entry candidates is ₦30,000 only. This is payable at any commercial bank, including UNN Microfinance Bank.

  • Visit the UNN portal: https://unnportal.edu.ng
  • Log in using your JAMB Registration Number.
  • Generate a Payment Invoice (this will include a Remita number).
  • Take the invoice to a commercial bank or UNN Microfinance Bank and make your payment.
  • After payment, return to the UNN portal and enter your Confirmation Number and Invoice Number.
  • Print your Admission Slip and complete the Acceptance Form online.
  • Proceed with other fee payments and registration procedures as indicated on the UNN portal.

Paying your acceptance fee on time ensures that your admission is valid and avoids any complications during registration.

Important Notes

  • This admission is provisional. If it is discovered at any stage that you do not meet the minimum entry requirements for your course, your admission may be withdrawn, even in your final year.
  • Candidates recommended for courses different from their original application must change their course on JAMB CAPS immediately and submit the updated admission status to the UNN Admissions Office.
  • Make sure all documents, including your O’Level results and payment receipts, are ready for clearance and departmental registration.

If you know someone who applied for UNN Direct Entry or JUPEB and did not see their name on the list, share this post with them immediately. Many candidates are not aware that the list is out, and sharing this information will help them secure their admission on time.
